I opened the DIS, they were malpositioned in that they were backwards and had heads tucked in towards the middle, making it impossible to internally pip. They were fully formed and looked normal otherwise.

Very long overdue! But here are the 4 bantam cochin babies!!!
The one with the darkest beak was labeled Lavender/Black...so that will definitely be a keeper!
@debonatrix also hatched cochins from same breeder...how are you littles doing now?! Any updated pics and remind us of colors please!

Love how you always have props for them to pose in. I find this only works for me for the first few days after hatch, after that they’re going in the gazillion different directions!![]()

My other broody had one hatch today and another egg still to go... The other chick died unfortunately I think mumma hen knew something was wrong with it and brought it away from the nest.. at least if they hatch 1 each they will have a buddy around the same age and will grow up together.
Awe they are such cuties! Congratulations!Little chick update. Happy that we finally got a frizzle. I'm also loving the crested chick and the blue. Please excuse our dirty nails, my son and I were doing some re-potting.
