I know I should have waited, but I needed hope. The eggs are between day 4 and 6. Can see heart beat in some which is really cool and giving me the hope I needed. And the last one, I expect thanks to my broody hen is slightly more developed

Okay, me first! Second full incubation hatch ever for me. This time I have home laid white and blue pied muscovy eggs, set 22/09/19 so should hatch approx 27/10/19View attachment 1916548

I have 8 shipped eggs that I'm trying to figure out right now. They took three days to deliver they re from North Carolina. And they're red jungle fowl eggs mixed with some game fowl. Zoo stock I believe I messaged the seller. I plan on putting them under a broody hen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that the folks in the August hatch a long hit the nail right on the head. They told you everything you need to know.

1. Just let them rest pointy side up for 2 days, with one side of the carton on a book or something to raise it up, and rotate them twice a day.

2. Let nature take its course, and let that broody go!

What size book do I put under there . You know what thickness?

It really doesnt matter, you just need it to lift one side of the carton, but IMO id say 1/4 inch or above.
