So I have three and now the fourth one has pipped. I am a little concerned about one of them. For a full 24 hours it did not open it’s eyes after hatching by itself. It doesn’t really stand up straight it mainly lays down. It does look a little smaller than the others. I really hope that it will be OK, but I don’t have a good feeling about it. At least it’s finally opened its eyes

You might try giving it some Sav-a-Chick or Rooster Booster or similar supplement. We had one last month that had a tough hatch and wasn't able to stand right away. I dripped a little Booster along its beak with my fingertip every chance I got for a day, and it was fine a day later, able to keep up with the week- olds just fine.
I will admit here that I also carried it around in my cleavage for a while to keep it warmed up and handy to feed.

My silkie eggs started chirping yesterday and I woke up to a baby out this morning and three more just popped out in the last couple hours with one left to hatch (it's day 20, I ran the temp closer to 100 than 99.5 through most of incubation which is probably one of the reasons they are popping out early). The last egg has an external pip, I'm hoping for a 100% hatch rate! I will take some pictures of the little ones later today and post them.

Aww poor baby, I've had a few chicks that I had to assist that wouldn't open their eyes for a long time after hatching and were exhausted for the first couple days. I gave them pedialyte (I'm sure save a chick/rooster booster would be better or at least as good) every few hours during the day and kept them separate from the other chicks until they perked up (also held them a lot on a heating pad set on low in my lap so they wouldn't have to be alone for long periods of time). I hope your little one makes it, it's a good sign it's opened its eyes! I hope your last baby makes it out for you soon as well.

I still can't see a pip. I guess all those egg cages are blocking my view of the few eggs that normally pip early.

The last baby hatched, so that makes a 100% hatch rate with the first and last hatching less than 12 hours apart (I'm very happy about how easy this hatch was)! They're all doing great, eating and starting to drink.

I go into lockdown tomorrow night with shipped eggs I already know this is gonna be my worst hatch ever. Im really nervous because not that many have made it.
I hate shipped eggs but its the only way I could try to get the varieties I wanted this time of year :/

Good luck with your eggs, I hope you don't lose any/many during lockdown (I know how hard shipped eggs can be to hatch)!

It got so warm here today my incubator freaked out. I may now have proof my house needs insulating because it was only 30degrees celcius outside but inside was almost 39. Buying a stack of thermometers has come in handy. Meanwhile I'm only just on day 21, which means only 14-16 days to go (depending how delayed they are from earlier power outage) but anyways keep those cute pics coming! Loving all the chickadees!
