How exciting, I bet you'll get some out soon! :celebrate
One twin is internally pipped, the other isn't. If they're not hatched by noon tomorrow, I'm going to help the best I can. I can hear one making noise, the other is probably at the wrong end.

Good luck with the twins, I hope things go as smoothly as possible for them both! :fl

I'll have to look up safety holes, I've never hatched or anything so I'm like a new parent going insane :barnie
I was like that the first time. I checked the incubator even at night and spent hours watching and filming with my phone...
@igorsMistress They are at natural light, right? What about heating and extra light? Is it dark at night?

I have daylight bulbs in the lighting fixture in that room and use a heat plate instead of a heat lamp. I gradually dim the supplemental light and by late afternoon they're down to whatever comes through the windows; they naturally put themselves to bed by dark.

I will never brood with a light again. I did that once but every batch since has had the plate. It simulates a more natural experience by letting the chicks go to warm up IF they are cold and they're on a natural light cycle as well.

Thanks, so that App that someone posted earlier said they need to start with 24h light, then decrease. So mine are exactly one week old now and per the App they need 22 h light. I don't have heating plates, I just ordered ceramic heating bulbs but they will arrive in about 10 days.

I'm using a red bulb and I don't want too but that's what I have right now. I want to order a heat plate for my next hatch in November.
