October Hatching ... How many are in? I'm due to hatch on 10/17

I woke up to two babie silkies. One is a splash came from a 'bbs' marked egg. The other came from an egg marked, 'Lav Splash', that one has a big crest on his head so he is easy to tell apart. The poor baby has an eggshell stuck to the middle of his forehead lol. There are 3 more pipped eggs in there so far. I tried to wake up dh and tell him and he just mumbled something and went back to sleep so thought I'd get on here to tell ya'll concious people LOL! Yeah!!

I have quail hatching every month so i'm always in. I also have some pekin ducks due on the 27th and some bantam dur around the17 and a few of mine due around then also. I have 36 quail due tomorrow.

i candled a few and i saw veins

some of them didn't have them but i put them in there at diffy times so maybe they will get them later.

I have 4 golden cuckoo marans, and 8 blue barred banty cochin eggs due to hatch the 10th, then I have about 10 golden blue cuckoo marans eggs due to hatch around the 14th, and some BBS LF cochins due to hatch around the 17th. I am going to have ALOT of babies, considering we just hatched 13 BBS LF cochins, 8 silver laced LF cochins, 6 dark brahmas, 6 buff banty cochins, 6 mottled banty cochins, and 14 ameracauna/LF cochin cross chicks! We are going to be over run with babies. Right now we are using our 4 horse trailer as a GIANT brooder. It is working well. It may be in use all winter!

I have 31 BBS Splash Orpington Eggs in two incubators due for lockdown on the 11th and to hatch on the 14th. This will be my last hatch for the year, the weather is turning cool here faster than it normally does. I am thinking of candling the eggs tonight to see what I am dealing with! Hopefully my brinsea will be the key to a good hatch this time. Last time I only had 5 hatch out of 24 eggs. I have 23 in the brinsea and the rest in the old hovabator. I am hand turning the hovabator eggs this time. We will see how things go!

I just set my 8 Lavander Orp project eggs this afternoon. Shipped eggs so we will see what I get get. So They will be do to hatch in Octover 23rd. I am using a Genesis 1588 with a turner.
