Odd colored chick...

He does look like he could be a barred rock mix, though it’s hard to tell because he has two copies of the barring gene. Based on this, I believe the chick is showing silver, and he inherited two recessive pattern genes from his mixed parents, like @Jada22’s barred silver columbian cockerel.

He reminds me of the Barred Plymouth Rock cross I raised when I first got into chickens. the lady selling them had them as Plymouth and Sussex crosses

I don't have any other roosters of different breeds that it could be from...

But yeah I think my roos might question child support payments on that one. It looks much different than the siblings...
