I don't really mind If she is really a he. I'm just hoping for a pullet so I can breed to her uncle(and because her(?) colors aren't the manliest xD).Copper's colors are beautiful, BTW! (I saw your thread) Kate Meyers of OC Seramas is on here, but i haven't seen her on here for awhile... same with prizepeteYep! I hate to say it, but that looks a lot like my Copper, though mine's two weeks younger. Similar comb development, more red in the face at resting. However, I wouldn't pass judgement yet - I'd say wait a while. That's what I'm doing with Copper, though I'm pretty sure Copper's a cockerel. Bear in mind, I'm just getting started, myself, so I'm far from an expert! I believe there are some Serama people on here... but I'm not sure who they are.
Seramas certainly are precocious little buggers. I had my two week old chicks out for some supervised run time, so they could see the older chicks and the older chicks could see them. Blueroo, who started trying to crow at six days old, was doing his best to square off against Scotch, my eight week old cockerel. Neck puffing, dancing and all! Amusingly enough, Scotch indulged him. Blue was very upset when I wouldn't let him scrap.
