odd-shaped egg

I have an ameraucana that has had an odd-shaped egg, twice in the last few days. It's normal at the bottom (the big end) but at the top, it's smaller. Picture lava in a lava lamp trying to separate.

Is this a new layer? When pullets begin laying you will find all kinds of weird shapes, textures, sizes. Can you post pics?

Mine all laid wait looked like cone head shaped eggs when they first started laying.

I have one that lays what I call torpedoes.

we have a white chicken (sorry don't know the breed) that was laying nice white eggs from the time we adopted her until she stopped 10/15 due to molting..... well today she finally laid one but it was very long and narrow so long it wouldn't even fit in the egg carton
