We have 10 of these lovely little birds, 5 pullets and 5 cockrells that are 2 months old. The little roos are already trying to crow! When will the hens start laying?

It differs by each bird and with different breeds, but generally chickens start laying between 17 and 24 weeks. Some breeds like brahma's, welsummers, barnevelders, etc take longer to start laying because they are slow maturing breeds.
