Come back Lorilove! Come back! To be honest, I go on Facebook once a month or so - I just have never gotten into the swing of it. But I do check it once in a while to see if any of my neices have won the Nobel or something. I guess I like the simple immediacy of this thread more than I like the confusion of FB...

I multi-task, and carry on conversations on both sites simultaneously.

A lot of folks that give up on or get bored or disgusted by BYC shenanigans go over to the FB side. It's been a nice place to keep in touch with some of them!

Well, the FB pic of Dacs is a tree trunk closeup with a chunk burned out of it - so it looks like a PacMan open mouth. Dacs face is on the other side of the trunk right in the open spot. It looks like a giant black charred PacMan is about to chomp down, but Dacs is smiling. I guess he knew how good the pic was going to be. Some other pics of him, particularly when children are in the frame, he looks like a deer in the headlights.

Luckily for me, I don't know that in my entire life, I've ever been in a pic alongside a child. Oh wait, I did get caught holding a baby once at a home at West Point. One of the geology profs and his wife named their daughter after me. (long story)
