Nella you are so pretty!

I dont like the rex-rooster wine either. Bought it twice too--probably because I like chickens. Darn marketing.

Good morning!
I get another day off.
And I got a glimpse of that moon at 4:30 this morning, but now it is hiding behind a cloud again.

I got a little bit organized yesterday, yay, I have an underwear drawer again!
I still have a few boxes of stuff to go through. And I know they say if you haven't seen it in years you probably don't need it, but that is not always true. Sometimes your stuff gets put in boxes so your kids can take the drawers and stuff to their house.
And I was thinking, you know, I don't really need all those purses, but sometimes I like to change my purse, but most of the time I don't even carry one.

And my swimsuits, well, what if the duct tape still works on my front porch pool, and I get to set it up again this summer.
Yep, that duct tape has fixed that leak for a few years now, same piece!
All you really need is duct tape and zip ties!
Zip ties work great on chicken pens ya know.

I wish I would of remembered to grab my camera when my nephew was here. I could of emailed it to my sisters. None of us ever knew him, not even my brother. I'm not sure how it came about my brother decided to meet him.
I have a baby picture of him. I never really knew the mom, just some girl that was over my brother's house when my mom was sick and dying at his house, and I was always over there taking care of her, but they never came into the front part of the house where I was when I was there. Then I heard she was pg, then she wasn't around anymore, one day she stopped by my mom's/brother's house and gave my other sister and I pictures, and I never saw or heard again, and I always wondered about him.

And that is one of the weird stuffs I mentioned awhile back, when my brother called and asked if I wanted to meet him if he was able to get together with him.
Oh my, I wish I would of taken a picture.
And he looks a little like a cousin and his hair is like my middle son's, and now tow of my son's have met their cousin they never knew they had.

Yuck, the work drama llama has started up. How can I dare let my nearly adult kids go to a political hearing for a topic that clearly as proven by WI and other states is just horribly messed up and we shouldn't have (CIR). Blah blah blah....

1 - They are 17 and 14. 17 y/o is done with HS in 3 months. 14 y/o is a freshman and is ready to be out of HS and into the adult world.

2 - They are both going into labor/union jobs. 17 y/o wants to go into explosive demolition (do not panic, do not panic, do not panic is my mantra about now), 14 y/o wants to be a presswoman. Both are rather in demand jobs. Both have already interned/worked in said fields. DD currently is working in her field and loves it more every day.

3 - They have justifiable concerns about their future. I have no problems with them learning about "adult matters" now when they are close enough to adults. The reality is this will impact them as adults and they are old enough to understand it.

4 - My biggest grrrrr out there. Said drama llama has a 32 y/o kid who still lives at home and has not worked a full time job in his life. She thinks THAT is more acceptable than my kids growing up and realizing what adult life is. I don't say anything to her face about her adult child, why does she complain about my near adult children.

Plus the incredible fun of half the phone reps being out with the bug that SHE spread last week. Whaaaa, she was out of sick time so she came in with a nasty strep bug that causes people to lose their voice. Grrrrr......

I think I saw rooster wine at the store before. And I think I almost bought it because of that rooster on it.
I don't know if it had a cork or not, and I don't remember where I saw it.
Now I'm going to have to look again and see if I ever really saw it!

Sounds to me like you are doing a good job with your teens algae.
And I know in an earlier post you said what your name really is, but I have CRS.
Being able to function in the adult world before adulthood is a good thing!

Be sure and wash your hands often, and wipe off phones etc, while that sickie is there!

Remember the T zone, eyes, ears, nose and mouth, keep your hands clear from there to prevent catching illness from others!

Morning ya'll!

I have a bottle of rooster wine at my house. It'll turn to vinegar because I don't drink wine. Did have a margarita on Saturday night, though, as I waited for the 'super moon'.

No adult beverages on Sunday night; Monday is ahrd enough without a hangover. I can't have an adult beverage tonight, either, because its orchestra practice night. Maybe when DD gets her license I can imbibe before rehearsal. It would make it infintely more entertaining for me....

g~ Vent here but ignore your sisters. They will goad you into saying something that they can use against you to manipulate your mother. Just play nice and take the high road. I did it for years with my ex and his family, even though the ex was crappy and it really sucked. I did it for myself, because meanness and hate feeds off ugliness and I refused to have that on my own soul.
It really paid off now, though, because his mother can call and check on DD and we can talk nicely together.

That same advice works for CA as well. Just try and tune your coworker out. She probably likes having a 32-year old baby....

Yes, no smacking the drama llama at work. So I have to grumble. Usually DH gets the cranky e-mails from me, but he's out of town, so I can't grumble at him.

Yes, no touching my face and worship my hand santizer. I sound like absolute crap, but it's my allergies/asthma mixing and I can't use my steroid inhaler, so I snerk and hack and sound lovely. The fun of being pregnant, I love the kids once they are here - but while I'm pregnant, grumble.

Seriously, I love my kids. But I'm honestly loving them more seeing them turn into adults who are decent people. I'd probably kill 'em if they are still at home at 32.

K ladies. I am unemployed today, and have all sorts of projects to do at home today. I need to plant the bajillion plants the kids bought this weekend, and the autosprinklers just went off out there, and there is a 90% chance of rain.

So, I gotta get cracking before it gets MORE wet out there.

Be back soon.

I think g needs to get it out then walk away knowing she said what needed to be said. Otherwise SHE won't move forward. I couldn't care less about the sisters. I think they like having a whipping boy, but sometimes you have to lay it all out on the table inorder to get the weight off and be able to move forward cleanly.
