So many colors!

I’ve moving them all into a bigger brooder and then I’m going to keep this setup and just pull out the jerks into this tub.

I have to run over to Illinois tomorrow to get a bag also. I bought two bags of Purina Flock Raiser Monday that almost all my birds are on but the crumbles are larger and I like to start chicks on meatbird if it is fresh.
The flock raiser had 5 different mill dates. I had to dig down to get some that was fresh.

Same here. Took care of the flock but completely skipped the starter. It’s in my truck now.
Also found out from the lady at the feed store today that all the smoke we have been experiencing has caused death, sickness and hens stopped laying In many flocks around the area. I’m glad I brought it up helps to know it was effecting others. I’m not sure the Pita Pintas will start laying again. They are supposed to do well in the winter, maybe the spring.

Well you did fantastic! I'm glad that this hatch went more smoothly than the last!

So much better! Everyone is doing great. We had three eggs that didn't make it, but 4 chicks that did and I'm really thankful. Thanks for all the encouragement and advice!

14 moved to the brooder....one just hatched still in incubator waiting for friends!!! As always it’s my little box of chocolates!!!!
