So I'm going to set a couple dozen of the eggs he fertilized as soon as I disinfect the incubator today.

Unfortunately none of my birds are laying right now, and I'm in the middle of another incubator redesign, so I won't be setting anything. Maybe next year!

I guess I'm in.
I hatched all summer. Of the chicks I kept, I have 50 or so chicks from 2 weeks to 3 months.
I thought I was finished for the year but my last rooster disappeared a few days ago. So I'm going to set a couple dozen of the eggs he fertilized as soon as I disinfect the incubator today.

Me too. If my button quail were laying, I would; unfortunately, the hen is still brooding her last set of chicks.

just one more batch .... thats what I keep telling myself... I have some more (mostly from the splash Necked neck pen) ready to go in tonight... is my math right that should hatch pretty close to Halloween???

I'm shocked I'm still getting eggs. I probably have about 3 dozen eggs to set. and that is with 3 broody hens.
I bet if I took the time to look under bushes and buildings I'd find more eggs.

How do you clean your incubator?

I'm using activated oxine.
