This is Sassy, our Olive Egger. Poor baby had no tail feathers and got hit by the molt freight train!

I don't have any hard molters, yet, this year.
But the Daily/Weekly egg count, out of 12 hens, is abysmal('ugly').

That makes me feel better. From 20 hens I'm only getting 4 ish a day max! My pigeons are laying more!

Thank you so much everyone- seeing these pics and getting the wonderful information makes me relax so much about my little harpies suddenly showing balding butts I do feel guilty though for initially suspecting my crazy little Nugget (that one has a screw loose to begin with, and fixates like crazy) for augmenting her protein intake at her roostmates' expense!

Finally got a picture of my lavender girl. Shes miserable. Its going down into the 30s and shes feeling it. Might be bringing her into a cat carrier tonight.
