Wow, I heard of it happening in some birds, like mottleds and slivers, but not blacks. It also looks like theynt like a normal feather either? Almost looks like she's turning into a white silkie.

I'm sorry, that's just nuts, I expected some white feathers, not her turning albino! lol & I agree with the other poster, the feathers don't look 'right' either.

her comb is a little pale but I assume it might be because she is not laying, but she look healthy besides her molting.
she is about a year and a half. her other room mates are fine *colombian wyandottes,BLRW,SLW*
