Me too. ;) :D

(P.S. I'm copying your little brooder coop area in my new coop -- with variations).
I’m happy to have inspired you! I felt a little silly at first putting two coops in one, but I have no regrets so far. Any I have an access door when it’s not in use, so my bullied rooster and low pecking order hens have enjoyed having their own roost at night.

What kind of variations are you thinking?

I haven't quite worked it out, but I'm thinking of putting it under a built-in brooder at shoulder level so that I can have a brooder for new chicks and a grow-out/integration area.

Since DH expanded the building plans twice I've got 16x16 to work with (all roofed with about 8x16 having walls), and I'm revising my original intentions.

We definitely talked about a set up just like that, but I decided not to since I also want to use mine as a coop for breeding and allow access when it’s not in use. I just didn’t want to have to bend under a brooder to get to the other coop. It was a super tempting idea though.
