Ok first entry: Cooking/baking

• What is it that you love about this hobby?

I've loved it since I was a kid, I love creating, making things that people enjoy.

• When do you do the Hobby?

When ever we're not cleaning or taking care of the chickens or beekeeping or taking care of the orchard (in actuality we left the city to do all these things that were hobbies).

• What sacrifices do you make to be able to practice your hobby?

Moving away from the city but I wouldn't call it a sacrifice; more like a life change.

• Are you an amateur? An adept? An expert?

Wouldn't say I'm any of those... But I did end up studying culinary arts.

• Are you lucky enough that this hobby is part of your job/income?

Yeah, I used to work in the hotel business, then we left the city behind and we went ahead and started to promote my hobbie with friends and relatives; my husband is in a totally different skill set/career but we do work together at everything now; I help him with his electronic work/repairs/programing and he helps me cook and bake.

BEEKEEPING AND BAKING!

Our first year beekeeping...

We harvested honey the old fashioned way without an extractor, and leaving most in the hive for the bees this winter...

OUR FIRST honey! We got a big jar and decided to make something special...

We made the most amazing homemade fig and rosemary focaccia bread with a honey lemon glaze from our own honey and rosemary from our garden.

Entry 1 - Crochet
I Love doing this because it reminds me of my Grandmother who taught me when I was a teen but i didn't pick it back up until about 2yrs ago.. It's easy to do while relaxing in the chair. The sacrifices i make is spending insane amounts of money on yarn
I mostly enjoy making Amigurumi but I also like hot pads and little ornaments I makes for craft swaps.

Dirt Bikes


We met on dirt bikes and got married on dirt bikes. We were both sick with Covid on our wedding day. Hence the chairs.

If I’m not playing with the way too many birds, I’m in the woods. Will be joining a race series for 2022 and can’t wait for them to start.
