You are very welcome. Sometimes some spirit animals just jump out at me. When I started to read your post about birds, the little bugger started buzzing by my head making it's little tweet sound. Ever been up close to a hummingbird. They will hover right in front of you as if to say, "PAY ATTENTION!!" He was persistant! lol.

I seem to be a magnet for dogs. Doesn't matter the size. I would say most of them have been friendly, but because of circumstances the dog was anxious and bit.. and that's only happened half a dozen times in my life (package courier). For the most part I can calm down many a dog. I know they say don't lock gazes with an angry dog because it's a challenge, but I can make them back off and let me offer my hand in friendship. Once the tail wags, its all good.

Then again, the times I got bit Im thinking they were going after the bacon treats in my back pocket by my scan gun ... hm...

Give them that stare down and "evil eye" thingie that Crocodile Dundee does to the water buffalo, lol

lol i dont have that kinda skill, but i don't look away. seems to make them think i gave up or something. My pup used to try it on me when he was a lil beast of about a year old. Now a days he is mostly a lapdog... a 70 lb lapdog lol

Isn't it amazing how things seem to happen. Actually Ellen's given indian name is EveningStar, and mine is KindredSpirit.
Ellen's blood is mostly indian, even her step father was a chief .. I dont show quite as much indian in my lines but more than most..

Thank you all for inviting us both to such a open and deep, yet comfortable place to meet ppl..

Speaking of hummingbirds, they usually flit away from me at their first chance, but once one came in my house and literally worse itself out and it let me catch it. I had never in my life seen a hummingbird NOT in motion. This little guy let me hold him for a few minutes to catch its breath and then I let it go outside. I am sure that will never happen again. Maybe that is why I love birds so much - they can rarely be caught.

WHOA moment tonight. Coyotemagic asked if she could see my spirit animal and it lead to Phillip and Gus being my guardians. So I thought about a Phillip I once knew. Searched FB. OMG he is THERE!!!!! Whoa.

Just stopping in to say Goddess Blessings to one and all. Been busy not much on BYC these days. Hoping everyone is surviving the winter OK. I am off to read posts I missed.

Nothing really new in the "take your breath away animal moments", but "someone" has been throwing me a lot of curve balls lately. This whole week has been one challenge after another and last night I found out my aunt had passed. I will miss her so much, but I'm struggling with staying strong for my family. They are taking it really hard.

Anyways, I've been craving a walk in the woods, to just be surrounded by the serenity of nature and animals. Unfortunately our weather has been extremely crappy! So I'm crossing my fingers for good weather and a chance to escape sometime soon!
