Oh, it is most definitely for me--I had a spot all picked out for it. If the chart weren't so blatantly Christian, I probably wouldn't have given a second thought to changing it (but then it wouldn't have needed changing--now there's a Catch-22!) I tend to be a tad prickly over all things Christian and am maybe overthinking this because of that. I don't want to be as insensitive to them as they have been to me over the years. Does that even make any sense? Anyhow, I think it would be nice to have something that is visibly pagan on my walls. Up til now I have not been grandly, flamboyantly pagan, more quietly and unassumingly so, and I finally feel ready to make a louder statement.

Thanks for helping me decide.

I do it too. However, since you bought the pattern, it's yours to adjust as needed. I do similar on quilts (making it in blue instead of red) and embroidery (using the hummingbird instead of a butterfly). Somedays I even get annoyed at the pro-jesus bumper stickers on the freeway.

Haven't been on in a while, but was blessed to be able to travel to the UK with my mother. I was able to be at Stonehenge and Avebury for Beltane, so wanted to share a couple of photos...

very pretty! i have always been fascinated by stone circles and standing stones. i have books of photos i took on trips in britain and sometimes go through them just to see something beautiful and GREEN again! lol... i love new mexico but sometimes being in the desert is hard for me. that is why i spend so much time and money on the lost cause of gardening here.

a friend of mine was headed to england and wales to do some heritage research. she was supposed to leave 2 days after the volcano started the first time. so she had to postpone until next year. we had spent a lot of time talking about what to see and where to go and we were both really sad about it. well, it was her trip so you know, i guess she was more sad than me about it. so she went to salem instead and had a pretty interesting time researching there from what i heard.

I have not been here the last few days...
Catching up on posts has put a smile on my face......

(IHWIMY, you made me out right laugh... Glad to sense you are doing better too. I think your Korea issue will begin to resolve itself in June.)

I have WHAT in my yard? :

Amanda! My daughter's name is Amanda and yesterday was her birthday. Forgive my spotty memory and being too lazy to go all the way back through the posts, but wasn't it you that had the long lost uncle who served in Korea??

I haven't gotten any more from my visitor, but I am still not sure what that was all about!

Well, I had said my grandfather. However, turns out I know less about him than I thought. I talked to my Mom about it and she said he was in WWII not Korea. My bad.

Asking for a job isn't the same as asking for our nemisis to drop dead (by the by, thanks for not asking me to drop dead
