Serious Question For The Flaggers

I know there is a lot of talk about flaggers having sophisticated technology, multiple server IPs and all kinds of technology to be able to flag every post on R&R and I keep wondering why? It can't be for bragging rights. It just sounds kind of silly to be hanging out at the local hackers bar and telling everyone that you are the buccaneer that has been raiding Rants and Raves. It would be like doing hard time and telling your cell mate that you were in for candy bar theft.

Is this all you have to do in your life? It seems like if you had skills you would be hacking the Pentagon or maybe even J.C. Penny's.

Actually I am more ticked at Craigslist for letting people take advantage of their site parameters to wipe out a whole section rendering it useless. I know that the people that run CL are very close to anarchists but is this they way the site is really supposed to operate. Are a few really supposed to wipe out all content?

What it the point?

This makes me so mad to go into the for sale section and see nothing but baby formula the first week of every month! Yes I understand you are on government assistance, and maybe you do need help with food for your family, but really? Selling it on craigslist is ok? NO!!! That is for your baby! And if your xxxxxx feeding and don't need the formula don't take it! Tell them I am strictly xxxxxx feeding. It makes me so mad to see people selling their government assistance! Some people actually need and deserve it and can't get it bc there are too many idiots selling it!!!! If you are a big enough person to sell it then why not tell the truth and say WIC formula for sale, instead of making up some kind of lie to make yourself sound better! Everyone knows your selling WIC why hide it? Oh wait bc it's illegal and you could go to jail for it and have to pay back ever penny of it. Read the brochures and the certification papers if you don't believe me!.... Ugh some people just irritate me soooo bad!

I'm trying to sell my beloved camper van on Craig's List.

I've had e-mails from all over the country, and will be meeting with a serious buyer tomorow.
This other guy e-mailed me with a very low offer, and I told him 'Sorry, no. I've got too much into it to take that low of an amount'. The asking price is 9k, and I've only priced it to re-coupe what I have spent, not to make a profit. Anyway, a few days later this is what he e-mails me:

"Sorry to bother you again, but I can't stop thinking about your van. I have a few more questions. 1) is it still available? 2) would you consider taking $7K knowing that it would be going to a growing family that would cherish it ; ) and 3) any ideas on how to get it to Long Island as my wife is due in a week or so? (she would kill me if I left anytime soon) maybe a trip up here in the near future? Thanks again for your time."

Yeah, buddy - sure I'll take 7k for it - and the delivery charge for me to drive it from FLORIDA to LONG ISLAND (in FEBRUAY!) will be 3k!!!

And notice it's not that he needs to stay in town because his second child will be born any minute, but because his wife will kill him if he left......

Our local CL has made the news, apparently some thieves/scammers are "selling" iphones, the buyer comes to them and gets robbed.

UM... meet at a neutral location, a well lit, busy location like a restaurant.
Every time I have sold or bought something like a laptop or somewhat expensive, i meet at a McDonalds OR a coffee shop.

grrrr...
