I have a quarter horse / thorobred mix forsale. I do not have time nor space for her. Serious injuries only. Horse and all tack, make offer. She can be rode by anyone. Please call or text. I have pictures if you would like. I am unable to respond to messages for some reason.

Nice to know that this horse is all business . . . .

Oh, I hope that's a simple typo and not a Freudian slip.

Oh my goodness! I just don't get how when people want to sell something they can't spell correctly, or have correct grammar! It's not that hard. Whenever we sell a animal it always has tons of information too. In some cases like this it shows the owner doesn't really care about the animal. :(

Over the years I have come across many an ad from a life long multi generation farmer that wasn't always worded that well, but they most certainly cared about their animals...

I know it's hard for the Internet and computer savvy to relate sometimes but there are still many people who are internet and computer newbies, and things meant to help like predictive typing, grammar check and spell check trip them up...

Quote: Unfortunately, a lot of the people who make these mistakes are quite computer savvy, and they rely on the machine too much to really pay attention to what it is doing. Proofreading is tricky under any circumstances, because when you are reading along with any sort of speed, you start skimming over the words, and reading words more or less by shape rather than actually sounding the word out. Context clues may make you think you saw what you meant to say, rather than what you actually said - "definitely" instead of "defiantly," for example.

Also, sometimes people haven't a lot of written english skills. They can be from another background, or "not readers". I see a lot of words online that are obviously "guesses" as to a word known only verbally. As long as I understand from the context what is meant, I don't judge. Sometimes, a particular typo will be amusing, though, whatever the reason for it making its way into an ad.

I'm pretty savvy to all the tricks and scams, but this week I got tagged $2K buying something with a very convincing amazon gift card scam.
I might get my money back, I might not.
Be careful out there, and always do things face to face.

Ouch, that would hurt. Hope you get your money back Joe!

Yes, hope they sort out the miscreants and you don't end up out of pocket, bbqjoe.

I saw an ad online today for a garage sale and the poster had added xxx to the bottom of the ad. I just wonder whether she realises that that is something usually added to personal correspondence as kisses for the recipient.

Maybe she's just really friendly?
