Won’t they be surprised when they figure out those roosters lay eggs.

If that ad were in my area it would make perfect sense. Weekly you can find donkeys, chickens, goats , pigs and the occasional horse that people either are moving or divorcing and just want the animals gone. You could build your own Farm off of Craigslist. Not saying what the quality is. In this area that person would probably find a free horse if they ran their ad long enough. And now here's a new one... seen people looking for free dogs but never a free horse... and oddly they actually sound pretty educated and experienced so it's weird. Maybe they're just cheap LOL
But if they can't or aren't willing to spend the money to buy one, I would question their ability to be able to care for it too.

Sounds like a well set up advertisement. In terms of telling flaws and the shots they were given. Didn't know you could sell "parovovirus shots" though. Some spelling and grammar wasn't paid attention to.

I know of people who need to rehome an old horse or one with a disability - no longer able to ride/show. My cousin had that situation & was paying a lot of money to board her horse. After 2 years of vet treatment all she could do was visit him and spent much of that time crying. He was only 4 or 5. Through a rescue, she was able to find a stable who could use him as a companion for their other horses. And now here's a new one... seen people looking for free dogs but never a free horse... and oddly they actually sound pretty educated and experienced so it's weird. Eh Chiwawa!

It is strange that he's asking for a free horse that he could ride without offering a trade or some kind of payment. Around here there are a few ads asking for any unwanted farm animals; however, there really aren't any farms left in this county. I'm guessing they get lots of roosters & kittens.
