I would assume they the chicks in it from babies to when they were ready to lay and then put them in a different coop… but then i thought “i wonder what their coop looks like if they kept them in that thing”

It's an excellent example of lazy owners. Can't build a coop and doesn't have the money so builds a....not sure what to call it. I habe an excellent solution for them. Get rid of your animals

Agreed. I (an 18 y/o) with very little money but still works bought chickens with my boyfriend. We didn’t know anything about chickens or how to build a coop but we did with scrap pieces of wood and tbh it came out decent for our first go…

It looks very much like they used it and as problems arose they hacked together fixes.

That was the prime example. If it was kids yeah it is fantastic they managed it. Adults with not skill should have gotten a friend or neighbor to help.

I see coops like this on my FM Marketplace pages all the time. Ex-

All of them make me so mad. The second one was used as a rabbit hutch, but listed under chicken coop.
I can't believe anyone would put chickens in that thing @CKfarm22! That makes me so angry!

If all your chickens get killed you gonna be spending money on new ones. Maybe not as much as some nice coops out there, but still.
