I see coops like this on my FM Marketplace pages all the time. Ex-

All of them make me so mad. The second one was used as a rabbit hutch, but listed under chicken coop.
I can't believe anyone would put chickens in that thing @CKfarm22! That makes me so angry!
The second one looks like an ideal set up for quail.
I'd argue, though, well-built small chicken tractors (not talking about the ones on the pictures) are helpful when raising a small batch of chicks and trying to get them on the pasture for the first few times.

I agree about the tractors, but its far from predator proof (chicken wire) and not waterproof. None of them are to bad, but not what I would consider "ideal". Plus, prices are really high.
I've definitely seen worse.

Definitely not predator proof. That's why they're helpful when you're home, but don't want to go chasing each of them when they need to go back to the brooder.

We bought this off craigs list. said his wife had birds he made it for her but she had quit feeding the racoon.
I use for my silkie they return to the coop at night.

Oh you’re not the only one. I had a situation over the summer where i rescued a hen that had a very bad mounting issue on her back. And i am so glad i got her out of that situation and those people. I was ready to call animal control on them because of the way their coops and runs were set up.
