Got a couple pics last night. These are a couple of my project birds. I like this ones type, he has a lot going on color wise. The ends of his hackles are a nice Dunn color. Not sure how I am going to use him just yet but I'm sure I will find a place!




This Ginger Red has a lot of leg but so many other good going for him. I am breeding from a short legged one right now. This one will probably end up in a phoenix project!

haha If you dont find a place for him Travis, I can !!! That is a nice bird for sure, love that color... How's your blue silver bantam phoenix going?

That's the great thing about them is the culls add lots to phoenix and helps add the multiple feathering....I see phoenix getting better and better through the years because of these little buggars...TM

Aubrey, I have scaled way back on my phoenix projects. I am only going to keep my Ismer birds going now. I have decided to focus mainly on the Ohiki. I did make a couple crosses and am getting some blues in the Ohiki now so I hopefully will have those soon!

That'd be great Travis, that's one color I like that honestly I ahvent seen in them yet... I like to dun and blue up everything when I have time.

They sure do, those I got from you last fall have turned into little studs, makes some of the best tails you'll ever see on a phoenix type bird

I have 2 blue red Ohiki hens but everything I hatch out of them comes brown red so far....I'm still trying though....TM
