Not that I know of. Keep a lot of cool water for your chickens/animals. This weather is suppose to improve by wed./thurs. the humidity is suppose to go down.

it's 87 here but says it feels like 95.... my poor chickies

keep in mind im a shut in hillbilly here. I notice complaints of rain and temps everywhere, is this an odd temperature year for everybody?

I am really thinking it is a odd year for everyone. I am glad the pen behind the house is starting to dry up cause it was starting to smell like slimy ducks, not that they were complaining. Have a nice clean pool and they choose to play in the mud puddle. Silly ducks.

Personally Brian, I don't think it is so much an odd year but the fact the older I get, the hotter it is plus all the storms everyday just seems to make it worse. I just want to stay in the AC

this could very well be it. i have noticed the older i get the hotter it seems. of course the older i get, the fatter i get. and when i fall, the longer i lay there, and more time i take to heal.

this getting older isn't a bit of fun.

You've got all that right LOL. How is your area for flooding? I'm watching the news, a lot of flooding going on around the state

im in a river valley cut by glacial runoff - other than that flooding isn't a problem

they widened the creek by us, we haven't flooded in years; but its always a concern.
