OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Hatched olive eggers a little over 4 weeks ago under a broody.
Hatched silver ameracaunas in an incy only 1 out of 7 hatched.
Had to purchase some flock mates: 4 Iowa Blues, 1 white cochin, 1 splash cochin.
Hatched 7 out of 9 Lavendar Ameracaunas, lost one during the hatch, and one has yet to hatch, today is day 21.
Also in this hatch are 3 lemon cuckoo Orpingtons.

LOL My DH told me that after I bought the first 9. He ended up letting get more eggs after the first batch didn't hatch. We got 6 from Rural King and he didn't say anything. We have one that hatched in my eggs, one that has been zipping for two days, and saw a pip from a third last night. Even with all that he didn't say no when I told him I was meeting my breeder when I got back. He just asked if I had enough yet. Of course I told him no.

My one that pipped first has stopped making any progress. It is still alive but doesn't seem to want to do anything. When do I start to help? And hoe do I help? It has been 24 hours of trying to zip with very little progress

From yest. it just wanted its friend to come out. Once he dried he is all black with yellow wing tips and a yellow tushy.

you can try to help, but you have to be careful. There is a really good page on Facebook, wonderful people willing to help. I had two of them call me last to help me. PM me & I will try to hook you up!!!

Ok I finally got the nerve to move it away from the edge so I could see what was going on better. The poor thing was stuck to the side so I kinda ended up assisting while trying to get it loose. The membrane is clear and it is breathing and chirping still. I'm going to leave it until we get back from dinner tonight to see if it progresses any since it isn't stuck to the side of the incubator anymore.

Lisa hereare the Lemon Cuckoo Orpington babies, all three hatched.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Last night was the first night my ladies spent in their coop. I sure hope they enjoyed it!!

This is the coop we have been working on (and still working on)

Oh man, my chicken tractors are so rinky-dink in comparison! Can't let the birds see this -- they'll all run away to go live at your place, lol!
