Mlaff, I'm going to take pics in the morning but you should see the size difference in these choc orps! The first ones I got look like they're on steroids compared to the new one! The polish are 15 weeks old today also.

I am going to rephrase, I traded the pair of lavender orps for the pair of rhodebars but I bought the eggs.  Hoping to get a bunch of cute rhodebar babies in 21 days!

Yay! Yet another breed on my lengthy wish list.

To all those coming to the swap, in mt orab,  do you know what you are bringing yet?

I had a huge list of birds I planned to bring, but everyday I change my mind and think "I should keep it for some reason or other.." lol. Probably will have a few young presumed cockerels..NN, OEGB, etc. And as much as I'd like to keep any EE/OE that hatch (fingers crossed) from minihorse's eggs, I already promised DH that's how we'd make up for the gas to get there lol..so if all goes well, I'll have a few handfuls of day-old chickydoos.

It is going to be sept 7 at Mt. Orab. Good time to meet and see what breeds everyone has! I will not be bringing anything this time, but will most definitely be bringing something home!

Does anyone realistically think it's worth my effort to bring a bunch of boys? I know there's not a big market for them and it sounds like that's what everyone else is hoping to sell as well, lol!

I'm bringing some free mix olive egger boys. Call duck pairs, Pekin pair or two, Guinea keets, Maybe some EE pullets. I'm sure there is something I'm forgetting. Oh, I should have some olive egger chicks a few days old to bring too.
