Out of 15 Rhodebar eggs I had 2 infertile and one quitter so down to 12. Bought these from the guy in Russelville. Can't complain. Hoping they all hatch (with tons of pullets)!

I'm thinking about checking mine again tonight. My friends kids are over so ill show them hopefully a bunch of little babies in the eggs. Crossing my fingers because tonight is the start of day 7. Out of 26 eggs hopefully I see something in more than 14 of them.

I am hoping you got more than 14 good eggs!!! How many of those are from the chocolate auction? I have a pretty decent hatch for shipped eggs. Even better considering the PO broke an egg inside the box. Luckily they were packaged so well that it didn't make a mess. I had 2 of the 3 black/blue AM hatch. 5 chocolate and splits hatch and 4 choc orps hatch out of about 20 eggs. Better than 50% considering one of those was broken in the box. I had one black/blue make it to lockdown and quite, 3 choc AM and 1 choc orp quit in lockdown.

ok, wife made a list of what she wants me to bring to the swap.

pair of buckeyes, trio silver phoenix, trio of white leghorns, pair of black rosecombs, trio of silver duckwings, pair of copper marans (reserved), the c.k. whites and blacks (mixed breed), trio of millie fleures d'uccles (possibly traded), 2 wheaten OEGB hens, older trio of black OEGBs, pair of blue splash OEGBs, a single bantam buckeye rooster, a single white rock bantam hen and my only pair of turkens. young pair of lemon cuckoo cochins (reserved). pair of dark brown leghorns (reserved). a mixed OEGB hen.

im going to bring some hatching eggs for chicken and quail, and 5 nearly grown turkeys -3 bronze, and 2 blue slate. your guess is as good as mine on the sex. im also going to go through my chicks, i dont know for sure what im bringing on them.

ive had 2 people ask about the incubator, im going to bring it - i will trade with DW's approval.

11 of them were from the choc silkie. The rest are the showgirls. I didn't expect them to have the best hatch. Can PM you if you want more info. After my DH goes to bed I'm going to check them out again. Since I've had my new incubator everything's been hatching fine. But ill update you for sure. I really want some fluffy little choc running around.

Lol, too funny. They said they're putting down the first cost and them they have to do a second. I was going to stay till 730 in the morning but if they get done at a decent time i might just hit up McDonalds and go home. I might go hit up McDonalds and come back and move skids back on the floor too. Figures our main manager didn't bother to tell anyone this was going on tonight so that way i could have come prepared to stay here all night.
