I haven't lived in Ohio since Jan 2000, but my husband and I both grew up there. He's from Beavercreek and I moved around a lot. Lived in Lebanon, Kettering, Centerville, Bellbrook and for a while we lived in Amelia. (East of Cinci)

Now we're living east of Indianapolis but are in Ohio quite often visiting family.

I am from the Cincinnati, Ohio area. We are selling our eggs for $2.00 per dozen and can't keep any for ourselves. My 2 boys are selling the eggs. We are also selling ducks eggs for $2.00 per dozen also. We have a couple of customers that like the ducks eggs. I was shocked.

I am from Cincinnati too! I am on the west of Cincy in Miami Township. I have a Leghorn Roo, Golden Laced Wyandotte Roo & hen, Americauna Roo & 2 hens, 4 Light Brahmas hens, 2 Blue Cochin Hens, Gold Sex Link Hen, Black Star Hen, Welsummer Hen, & 8 RI hens. Hoping to get more in the spring! Hello to all Ohioans! I am a real estate appraiser & I have done appraisals in Highland, Clinton, Brown, Clermont, & Hamilton Counties, so I know most of SW ohio very well.

I live outside of Perrysville, just south of Mansfield. No chickens yet. I am getting my little chicks in the spring. I can't wait! After being on here for a week I have learned so much. I keep changing my mind about which breeds to get, but Buckeyes will be on the list for sure!

Hey Neighbors! I live in... well, Portage County!! (in Mantua, just north of Ravenna) Glad to see so many other buckeys here. I put my map marker on the Frapper Map stickied to the top of the "Where am I? Where are you" main topic. That's a fun thing.

I sure wish they'd make a single sticky thread for each US state and each Canadian Provence. Sure would help, but I guess this way it helps us all learn how to use the search engine and search strings.

Well, enough whining from me!

I am recently moved back to Ohio after 20+ years in the military (USAF retired) I'm taking care of my 90 year old father and have finally decided this old place needs some hens to feel like home again. There's just something about having hens scratching around the yard!

The old coop caved in, and we had to tear the remains down, and not much was worth trying to reuse! So NOW I'm gathering stuff for building a new one, hope I can get it going in between the flurries!

I plan on going to the Middlefield auction to get some pullets or maybe some older hens... just so I have something that will be laying pretty quick, and I'll go pick up some peeps from Meyers. It's so much less stress to bring them home in the back of my station wagon instead of a USPS truck!

Enough of a ramble for now, Take care all!
