OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Your welcome blessedchick. I didn't know how to go back and post the flyer. Looking forward to the swap and meeting everyone and hopefully be able to pick up some pullets. A lot of mine have turned into cockerels :)

The Delaware swap is Sunday Oct 6. From noon to 4 pm. It is being held at Champion feed store on 36/37. If coming from I71 it is on the left (south) side of the road before you reach Meijers just before getting into Delaware. No fee to set up. Bring tables, chairs, pop-ups etc.
Thank you for posting the info, Janalynyorkies! And you gave me an excuse to post the flyer again as a reminder... :celebrate
I wood like to go. I want more hens. :)

I am coming to the delaware swap but I am only bringing some ducks to sell. Is anyone going and interested in some pekins or mallards? I am going to let them all go cheap. I am bringing some more call ducks to the swap also. I think all I have left is going to be pairs of snowy drakes and grey hens. I am hoping some are interested cause I need to let them go before I have to winter them over. I know the last pair of snowys I already have sold and I am waiting on the lady to come do my NPIP so I can get them shipped out.

I need to take some pictures but I am keeping back two snowy pullets from this years hatch plus a grey drake(the ONLY one I hatched). The grey drake is TINY and I am hoping to breed him back over the two hens plus I might pick out a hen to keep from the greys to add back into the breeding pens. I am really hoping between the Lucasville show and swap I can find a new snowy drake that is going to be my drake for next year as I am not planning on breeding the boy I have now next year. I want to reduce the size on my snowys down. If I have to I will run the tiny grey drake with my hens and see if that helps get the size down.

Just got my first hatching eggs in the mail today! Blue laced red wyandottes, I've got another dozen due later this week. And a dozen cochin bantams. Will put them in the bator when the next batch come in. This is my first try at hatching shipped eggs..feeling a bit anxious!

Good luck with them! Let them sit for 24 hours before putting them into the incubator to let them stabilize. If they came from a hot climate, it might be best to put them in with the turner off for 24-48 hours. You might already know that of course though ;)

I really need to proof read my stuff for auto correct screw ups.
