More so than the hatcheries, I feel we are very fortunate to have so many good quality shows in, and around, Ohio.  This years Ohio National ( at the Ohio state fairgrounds November 7-9) should be something special.  I would highly recommend it to any one with a interest in poultry.

As to the weather, hot humid, chance of thunderstorms most of the week.

Hot humid, and the storms need to get here and be gone. my internal barometer is up and so not happy. I can't sleep,can't get comfy, and the meds to stop my pain are not working. Time for chicken therapy to take my mind off it.

Welcome FF! Northeast here with a small flock of barred rocks. Just looked up the Jersey breed and about spit coffee out my nose when I saw, "those jokers can EAT".

hehehe yes they can!!! I love them!!!! They are so much fun!! So funny cos they are soooo huge and the silkies are sooooo little!! They aren't in the same coop of course but it shows just how BIG the Giants can get!!!

OK, when the heck is Fester going to whoop my one year olds. He stands up to my head wench but then turns tail n off he goes. (I am a tiny bit upset with head hen.)I just wonder at what age should he finally let her know he is boss not her.
