I am new here. I live in southeastern Ohio. My family always had lots of chickens growing up. I have only had mine for about a year plus I recently bought baby chicks. I just wanted to say hello.

and to the Ohio thread! What breeds do you raise?

The ones I've had for about a year are mutts I sort of got stuck with. My brother had four chickens two rooster and two hens. They just ran lose everywhere. Eventually the hens came around with chicks. I caught them because I was worried something would get them. And I've had them ever since.

I recently bought chicks 6 black astrolorps 2 RIR 2 barred rocks and two little yellow ones. And I think I've got chicken fever because I am constantly researching new breeds I would like which lead me here.
