OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

O-H!!!!! HELLO Buckeye nation. I'm located in the NW part of the state. We moved out to the country 10 years ago. My husband wasn't new to farm life, but I was. It had been the best decision we ever made. We started to raise chickens and northern Bobwhite quail. I prefer the Buff Orpingtons.... Hubby is the quail man, he supplies hunters and releases birds into the wild. We would love to see the Bobwhites come back into nature. He has many fond memories on his grandpa's farm seeing the Bobwhites sitting on top of fence posts, and hearing their beautiful calls.

Hello fellow Ohioans!!!

I am a new chicken mom as of the middle of last month (though my chicken journey started in December/January).

I have 6 "teenagers" and 6 day old chicks (though they are 2 days old at this point). So you can look at it as 12 chickens or 6-7 if you count by breed. :)

I just wanted to pop in and say hello!!!
