Here in NW Ohio it is drizzling, wet, 48 degrees this morning and I see GRASS! My ducks are ecstatic with the rain and even the chickens are happy enough to be running out in the drizzle to peck at the ground and the grass. It has been a long winter! I am going to put my 4 week olds out into the brooder coop today - sweet little babies, they have been in a brooder box in the house - I can't take any more of the dust and they need more room. Of course I am on day 10 of another bator full of eggs
love my chickies! Ohio people are starting to thaw out a little bit - been rough this winter on animals and people!

Yes it has been!!!!
I don't mind the snow, it's a part of it, I mind the hard freeze and ice from early December through most of January, that's what kicks me in the head.
