my sister was a college graduate when she said this okay:

the lights went out (transformer blew or something) anyway, she had to go the the bathroom and told her dh that. he said well go, her reply, but the toilet won't flush with no electricity

(but she thinks she is a know it all and so smart, nothing as great as common sense!!
