OK I think im crrazy?!

My brooder is a Wood box outside thats about 4 feet long by 2 and a half feet wide...I have the whole thing covered and its in the big shed with the red light so its not very drafty and should keep the chicks fairly warm. I did have them in the basement once but it got really dusty.. Do anyone else keep the chicks in a shed type place?
I feel bad cause they are outside when i think if i could get away with it I would brood them in my bed! Thats they only way Im able to raise the chicks without hearing the complaining is if they are outside and not making a mess in the house

I am right now. I've been keeping them in the house a week or two and then they go outside. Since I have two hatches coming in the next few weeks, I need to divide one of the brooder pens outside....crazy, but crazy SMART I hope. I'm hatching right now from my young breeder groups to increase the number of layers I have available in the spring for particular breeds. My 25 baby barred rock pullets sold yesterday too, so their pen is open...uh-oh~LOL
