mrs.... just forget about it! That's wht worked for me I'm telling u...the first day I didnt think about it and whammo she gave me my presesnt! She took a day off after her second egg (LAST monday) and she's not laid straight for the last 11 days!
Patience has it's rewards!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went out to check the coop at 8:00am and..........THERE WAS AN EGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lovely shade of PINK!!! But, it was broken.

It was in the middle of the floor and someone must have stomped on it. The yolk was also a nice orangey yellow. I don't know who laid it. I guess it was either Alma, the EE or could it have been Trixie the LB? The bedding wasn't even disturbed. It was like the hen laid the egg and didn't even notice. I hope next time she'll use the nesting boxes. I have golf balls in there so hopefully that will help. Will I get another tomorrow?????

I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!

My BA laid her first last Thursday evening. Nothing Friday. One Sat. morning. One Sun. afternoon. One Mon. evening. None Tues. or Weds. And one Thurs. noon. Some just adjust right away and others it takes a little.

YAY!!!!! I just went to put the chickens back in the coop after free ranging this morning and noticed that one was missing. I peeked inside the coop and there's Alma sitting inside one of the nesting box!!! I can't wait to see what she'll make!!!!!!!
