OK lots of pics and some new ones of the Ameracaunas and Del girls

Honestly, I don't know how many I have total. I don't want to know LOL!!! But the DH doesn't mind and actually enjoys them very much. He has his favorites that I am never allowed to get rid of!

No the ducks don't think they are chickens but the gosling does. I brooded the gosling with my chicks and it really prefers them over the other 6 geese who free range outside. It screams like a baby when I make it go out by them. And it actually takes care of the chicks--lies down and they all snuggle in to her/him!

I have fallen in love with Muscovies. At least with the Drake. He is so curious and gentle--he didn't like me petting him at first but now he waddles up and stands by me (probably looking for food!) He will "bill" my leg gently until he gets attention if I am ignoring him.

I hope to have that much eye candy in my yard soon (don't tell my husband). Though he really likes my chickens to, he just doesn't want to admit it.

It has taken alot of hatching to get to this point but I have learned alot and enjoy them so much. I was surprised at the unique personalities of each breed. I used to think a chicken was a chicken but each breed is just a bit different and some alot different!

I wanted to find the ones I liked the best so that is why I have so many different types. Problem is I really enjoy most of them!

That is exactly what I feel when I am outside with the chickens!

You have such beautiful birds. I did not know the Dark Cornish were so pretty! AND, those White Rocks are just gorgeous, too!

I keep coming back to this thread, just to look at all the pictures!

Thanks! I went out to get pictures of the mature Light Sussex and show the marked difference between a few of them and now the camera went blank and the shutter won't close.

So I am charging it and will see if that helps.

Of course it could have been the camera holders fault as I was trying to juggle the camera in one hand and the Grandbaby in the other arm (protecting him from the nasty Padfoot goose who pecked him onhis head) That's about when the camera bit the dust! LOL

Note to self:

To rustywoman:

"A FEW pictures" = 38 pictures

(Keep an eye out for when rustyswoman is ready to sell "A FEW" eggs!!) lol

Seriously .... nice flock!
