Ok think I might be taking my Scottish heritage a wee to far...

Lol... and I am the opposition lol...

I am a Mc Donald from Glencoe.

I am off up there in a few weeks, to take my uncle home.

My family lived in Fife, just north of Edinburgh, but I only have one cousin left there now. Have not been home for over 30 years so I am really looking forward to it,and also hoping to find some Scots Dumpy chickens
while I am there.

Sorry, just got my eyes opened this morning,

So you are still in Scotland,

where abouts are you?

It's an awesome place. The atmosphere is incredible, difficult to describe but very "heavy". Really makes the hairs on the back of you neck stand up.

Hi Linda,

I just mentioned that,

it is amazing how it affects people who go there.

The Mc Donalds were almost wiped out in Glencoe,

and it certainly seems to have a strange feeling that lingers there.

I love the place.

You could not have said it better Highlander....it makes you feel as though the armies are still there and are watching you....rather spooky.....and yes it does make the hairs on your neck stand up.....

But Scotland is the most beautiful place..I have always loved my little jaunts over the Border......hence I love Haggis......I like the mountains and the Lochs......and the sheer majesty of the country....but apologies still don't like whisky.......
