Ok, WHO DID THIS?!?!?

Are they fertilized??? It would be awesome to see what chicks come out of those 3 eggs!

We don't currently have a roo, so no fertilized eggs. I had to purchase a barnyard mix of 12 to put under my other broody asia black, so I am assuming she went broody without laying a single egg. Yeesh!

And she's thinking, "After all the work I put into it, and that's all you have to say?":celebrate

Task Master Chicken Momma! Already had a chickie go broody, had NO PLANS to be in egg hatching yet, here I am! Better do a better job than THAT puny little thang! :lau:lau:lau

One of my LHs laid wonky eggs the first week. Peewee, medium, rubber shell, large.. Then nothing for days and then... Super Jumbo, bigger than a turkey egg. Then nothing for a week, then normal Large/XLarge eggs from then.

Well, I know she's missing her sister, as they are the only 2 black chickens.... although they were raised alongside the 3 brown of unknown breed.

I have seramas, so your little bitty egg is about normal compared to serama eggs. I use 2 or 3 in recipes that call for one large egg. Sometimes in things that call for 2 large eggs, I use 1 big duck egg, and 1 small serama egg. So as long as it has a yolk (those small ones usually don't, unless its a small chicken), I still use them!

And heck, if you are scrambling the eggs, size doesn't really matter

(omg, did I just find a case where size doesn't matter??!)
