These were the biggest geese I have ever seen! Their necks were as big around as my arms,they were at least three feet tall and proably at least 50 pounds!

It was a great sale day. Over a couple thousand people there! Lots of birds of all kinds,Lots of rabbits,a few g. pigs one of wich was my only purchase!(pat on the back for me!lol) My buddy got some buff silkies and a nice trio of blue laced red wyandottes! I'll be raiding his egg stash next spring!lol Prices were fairly high for fall. Had to feel for all those families comming to the sale in those buggys. It was 32 degrees this morning. Kind of admire that aspect(buggys) of their lifestyle. Sure beats all thopse expensive car repairs and ridicuously high gas prices.
They had quiet a few gots,a few sheep and a few pigs and about a dozen new calves. Then there were five acres of anything and everything you could think of from furniture to housewares to farm supplys to building materials to everykind of farm machine you can imagine and a few I couldn't even imagine!lol

After I posted earlier 1 of the chubby pigeons flew across the room :-0 I didn't know their fat butts could fly. I've seen them flutter up onto a chair but that's it. How cold of weather can they take? Would it be better to fence them a covered pen? It doesn't seem right to keep them in a coop or building all winter, but is that how most people do it?
