these little guy are amazing- he has a cockatiel cage and sits next to the window watching all the action, took him out and he promptly snuggled- no attempts at wandering around- so i can contain his 'donations' to a towel...
the other two are in another cage in the studio, since they are used to cages i can just take them out for some playtime outside and bring them back inside in their cage- much easier that way...
meanwhile flo(the silkie) started laying last spring- about two weeks she wanted babies... hatched them out, raised em, went broody again, gave her keets, now tonite she decided time to go broody again! good grief girl take a break!

So glad you are enjoying your little silkied serama...they ARE amazing...he came from a group and had NEVER been handled. With just a little love and attention they become gentle very quickly. When I'm training a bird for a Table Top show, I just sit them on a small table and leave them there with food and water (I'm someplace nearby supervising)...after a short time they just think of it as 'home' and are perfectly content and happy. They are real 'home-bodies' and make wonderful pets.
