When we were children we had a young "cousin" (actually the spoiled rotten child who did no wrong of my Uncle's girlfriend) they would leave him w/ us older kids and he would tattle untrue things about us. So one day we set up the little vanity room right before you enter the bathroom (lined in mirrors) hid my big scary looking (in broad daylight) cousin behind a trash container, threw the little trouble maker into the darked locked room w/ mirrors and a strobe light while my cousin emerged from behind the trash can in a very menacing way. Scared the little trouble maker so badly he urinated on himself, then told him if he tattled on us again we would do even worse to him. Not only did he never tattle on us again but if his mother even thought of leaving him w/ us he would nearly go into seizures!

Just a cautionary tale. lol

I think you protest in hopes it will happen again.. You now if like the abuse all you really have to do is say so, I am sure they will all jump in then.

I convinced a younger cousin he could fly off the house with a chicken feather in each hand, he broke both ankles.
we duct taped an older kid to a tree out in the woods once, left him till a little after night fall. (City kid knew nothing of teh country noises)
Took a young kid "snipe" hunting walked him nearly 2 miles from my uncles house in an area he was unfamiliar with, he made it back teh next morning.
The story's could go on and on.. but at some point it would likely get me in trouble.

The Moral of the story:
kids can be cruel, especially to other kids that cause them trouble.

Well you definately have me beat, I may have inflicted emotional trauma, but never put anyone in the hospital!

Ksane that is a pearl guinea. Will your guineas come with treats? I shake a container of scratch & most of mine will follow me anywhere. But then again it is those 1 or 2 that seem to cause the most problems!

I had to open my hatcher & take out the wicking sponges. The humidity was almost @ 80 since it rained!

I think your husband may have some new ideas when he gets home, after seeing how have things set up here. It does make my life a lot easier.

Now that he has seen what I was talking about he understands what I wanted for my double stack brooders! Slide out trays are the way to go. Thanks again!
