***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Oh, I've been wondering why you didn't get honey the first year.
Info I had on the wax was it takes the bees 8 pounds of honey to make one pound of wax. The wax is also used as cells for brooding the new croop of bees. The queen lays one egg in each cell. It is important for the hive to have plenty of honey to help them live thru the late fall to early spring when there are no nector resources. I always give my hives two of the big hive boxes to fill before I set on a honey super.

So me cleaning the tub by hand and putting another load of stuff in to flush it out aint sufficiant?
Did the second load go thru without any back-up? If so, you are good. Wife will notice no extra lint in the dryer. Hopefully you captured most of the fabric in the tub.

DH & I spent the night looking @ house plan books. We agreed on one-- my plan is to make a copy of it & hang on the wall. Figure we will look at it over the next couple weeks or months & see if we still like it. We better love the plan for more than a few days or it could be a VERY expensive mistake.

I always looked at storage space and Pantry space first on house plans and then Kitchen, bathroom, Laundry. The living space needs to have a nice traffic flow. Size of the bedrooms were always last on the list.

Good Morning Wayne, busy day yes but not to busy to keep up here.

Poco, I hope you get to feeling better!!!

DD goes for an eye appt today, she has started having migraine like symptoms so we will start with checking her eye's & go from there.

Good morning all. Sad day at my house. Last night I opened something on my computor I guess I shouldnt have because my computor is all but fried. Internet is about all I have. Have lost all files on harddrive. McAfee said it detected and removed a trojan, but must have been to late as I keep getting alerts saying harddrive clusters have been destroyed no RAM detected etc. Have nothing, no document programs, pictures, games all gone. Hope the computor doctor can retrieve it back.

coral- check at church and make sure no one else got sick- thats a bummer!!

Morning NaNa! Hope your feeling a lot better! Hows the hubby doing? Are the spring calves dropping yet?
Taking antihistamines and that's keeping the copld at bay! Hubby is much better. Thanks for asking.
No calves yet, we kept the bulls from the herd until last May 15 so we would have calving start in late Feb/March.

Hate those computer viruses. Hope you get cleared soon.

here is a question for you all.... i was thinking of buying some english orp eggs to hatch- not the american orps... but the individual is selling them for $30 a piece? is that normal price?

Guy, I don't think it's a virus or anything you opened, I think your hard drive failed. That sucks. I've lost more files and pictures that way. I started keeping important stuff and back ups either on USB flash drives or in online storage. It feels like you lost entire chunks of your life when things like that happen. Does to me anyway.
Ok, the score is Middle Aged Lady-4............Noisy Guinea Birds-1
I've got 3 males and 1 female caught and only have 1 female left to catch. I'm starting to think it just may happen and I just may catch them all. I can't wait to get these 2 noisy girls re-homed!
Robin, I heard that *is typical for those bird eggs. Hopefully someone else knows.
