Moved from N. Illinois down to Bixby back in September. I got a few Barred Rocks back in October. Originally had my heart set on Silver Laced Wyandottes, but the hatchery I had planned to order from didn't have enough hatch out... I wasn't about to let that stop me from getting chickens, and since the hatchery was sold out for the rest of the season I just went to Atwoods! I've only got three right now, and have two more spots set aside for my eventual SLW or BLRW. Haha.
Aside from my new found chicken hobby, I travel a lot for work. I am a horse show photographer, and am on the road about every other week Feb-Nov. I am finding it rather fun to take the camera out into the yard and snap some pictures of the chickens too, of course!
