Got a little rain last night combine that with the snow melt and all my pens are a royal mess even the pigs are unhappy with the mud, I don't have enough hay to spread in all of them so started raking piles of leaves this evening I put a small amount in the goat pen I remember someone saying it might not be good for them to eat too many oak leaves and most of them are oak, everyone else is happy with it and the goats are just playing in them so far not eating any so I guess I'll add a lot more tomorrow evening, My poor Nanny is getting rather plump, How can you tell if she is about to deliver or when it's getting close? I'm thinking it could be almost any time in the next month maybe I can't remember when I got her but she was with the billy just after that,,

I'm sharing the computer with Lil'Sooner while she is doing homework.

The same people are running the Coweta sale as the Stilwell sell & there was no smoking in the building the night that I was there......I figure it won't be a problem.

Wow, gone all day and takes about an hour to catch up. Lots of good posts guys. I spent the day in OKC at VA. Had 3 appointments. They did lab work, that didn't go well. Let me back up a bit. I take about 16 different pills each morning and night. I called the VA to renew my scripts about first of month. Few days go by, no pills and I run out. So call again last week. As of today I have got 3 out of the 16 pills. Been about 10 days with out all the neat drugs I take daily. So I know the lab work might be off a bit. I told my doctor all this (like he think I know anything). Anyway, appointments are done and I go to a lady in Warr Acres and buy 3 real nice heavy year old Black austrolpe hens to put into my blue NN project. About the time I get to her house, my doctor calls. Says my lab is bad, said my Triglycerides were 9200 and something. I assume this is high. I told him, Doc I just got through telling you I aint had pills in 10 days. He said, come in the morning and do a fasting lab. Crap, now I am going back to OKC tomorrow (only now I cant eat) and without the pills I don't see it being any better tomorrow than today. Oh well, what else do I have to do..... lets see, lots of chickens stuff

You need to look into Naked Necks. They are heat and cold hardy. Lay a good big egg and have some meat on their bones. And they are so dang pretty.

DH just called to say he's taking me for a Valentine's dinner at our local Mexican food restaurant. Steak fajitas here I come!
