***OKIES in the BYC III ***

If you have extra, I love boiled okra and fried okra, my sister loves it pickled! Bring some to NEOCS with you and I'll by some, I' take a gallon bag or two of the 2-4 inch pods if you have them. Have you tried chopping them up and boiling them for the chickens, I know my goats and horses liked okra raw but I don't remember a chicken ever eating it raw, but have seen them eat it cooked, it may be the texture of it raw they don't like! Just heard from a friend that lives near Claremore. She has a nice cabinet incubator and hatcher to sell. I don't know what she wants for them but I will find out. I need the hatcher but its not in the budget right now.

Going back to read the posts from today...
Daughter is recovering in hospital after surgery today. Robotic surgery for hysterectomy took longer than normal because she had big issues to deal with....The new procedure brings recovery time to 2 weeks instead of the 6 weeks.
I hope her recovery goes smoothly and the surgery is a complete success.

Is she orange? There's an orange cats are crazy theory...............
My DH's brother has a big orange cat named tiger. He is just a scary as a tiger. You can't just pick him up. You have to let him crawl in your lap and your kinda scared to let him but more scared to try to shoo him away. Crazy orange cat. CRAZY freaks out without warning

Hey there! I'm new and this is my first post. I live in Bixby and have only had chickens for oh, about three weeks. I have so much to learn and have really enjoyed this site so far. I figured this would be a great place to start posting and get to know some of my "neighbors". Who knew chickens would be so much fun!
welcome neighbor, i live in sapulpa, welcome to the sight and the chicken world. what kind of chickens are you starting out with? there are tons and tons of different breeds of chickens out there for all different purposes. the more you get to looking around the more you will find you want.
