I chaulked it up to them coming from Ohio! lolIf you have extra, I love boiled okra and fried okra, my sister loves it pickled! Bring some to NEOCS with you and I'll by some, I' take a gallon bag or two of the 2-4 inch pods if you have them. Have you tried chopping them up and boiling them for the chickens, I know my goats and horses liked okra raw but I don't remember a chicken ever eating it raw, but have seen them eat it cooked, it may be the texture of it raw they don't like!
