I sense that you are a good cook. Your chile that I tasted at POOPS was superb.

Will she have any Buffs? We lost her mother a few weeks agoso we are looking for another Bantam Buff Cochin pullet.![]()
Joe, DH, is so happy that his bird's babies have such a good home.
I moved my LF Buff Cochin pair to the pen next to Joe's Bantam Buffs. You should have seen the two roosters meet for the first time! Joe's little roo, Moonpie - the father of your Buffs, is our smallest rooster but he also is the one that crows first and the most. My LF roo doesn't crow very often but crows the longest.

I have 2 Faverolles/Orloff mixes that both happen to be boys, look at that beardEvery single one of the 4 we've hatched out of my older Faverolles are boys. Not sure I want to hatch any more from him lol But his temperament is so wonderful and that seems to have been passed on to his sons.

Wow! I haven't seen this before! how neat.Haven't been on in a few days. Had to get the greenhouse built before the freeze and then I got a virus of some kind that laid me out for two days. Brain is still fried. Everything in the incubator is fertile and growing except the turkey eggs. We're on day 14!! We've never got this far with an incubation before with all the eggs fertile and still growing. Of course my daughter added two eggs on Saturday - double yolked duck eggs to see what they would do and they both have twin ducks growing. Here's a pic of one of them. It's not a great pic because we can see blood vessels forming already and the embryos moving. Does anyone know if they can actually hatch with two babies and both of them live?
