***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Finally all three hatched. Can't believe it took them that long. 23 days and 12 hours.
She can't believe it either, love the look on her face

Pretty birds! from so many who have posted.
A few of mine are in serious molt and the yard looks like a pillow exploded.

YThe Bantams are beginning to lay and I've been collecting eggs to go in the incubator...d'Anvers, OEGB, and Rosecombs. The F1 from the Blue/CWs are laying also. I need to make a pen for the Aussie/Cochin breeding project to get some eggs for hatching

Loving the cooler temperatures. Dug the rest of the sweet potatoes...a total of 2 bushel from a 4 x 16 root raised bed...not bad.

Hope everyone has a great day.

The Rosecombs are starting lay? That is great, I'm waiting on my Birchen Rosecombs to get started wont be long I'm sure. That is one I am truly looking forward to. How did the Buff Columbians come out?

I lost one of my little BBR Phoenix babies a week ago, they're 3 wks old now, I've got 3 left. I moved them to the 2x3x5 cage with perches and their little Brinsea brooder/heater. They love it. They're so small that I'm not sure if I'll even put them outside until spring. It's my last batch of babies this year and I'd sure miss having babies around if they were outside. I love Phoenix personalities, such talkative sweet little things.

MJ those don't look like any deer I have seen before.

6AM Bambi was @ the front door today & numerous times all day. All it takes is one of us walking outside & she feels better. Think she really just wants the company. She was head butting Blizard several times today, but he doesn't seem to enjoy playing.
